What does it mean to be a Good Neighbor?

Each Good Neighbor ambassador is a very visible representation of the Gulf Breeze Area Chamber of Commerce membership. Although this is a volunteer position, each Good Neighbor ambassador agrees to the following expectations:

  • Commit to a minimum of 12 months - must be full year resident and Chamber member.
  • 8 to 10 hours average time spent on Good Neighbor duties per month.
  • Meet with Good Neighbor Chair for orientation and training. Continuously keep updated and informed of Chamber events, benefits and service.
  • Attend quarterly Good Neighbor social events.
  • Participate in Chamber events as schedule allows.
  • Refer potential new members to Chamber staff, and work with staff to recruit prospects to active membership.

What are the benefits of becoming a Good Neighbor ambassador?

Benefits as an Ambassador to you include:

  • Your company name and your name on the Good Neighbor webpage
  • Networking with local business in the Gulf Breeze/Pensacola area
  • Invitation to exclusive Good Neighbor socials (quarterly)
  • Ribbon Cutting photos to appear in E-Town Points newsletter
  • Eligible for monthly prize drawings (based on attendance)
  • Eligible for Ambassador of the Year Award at Annual Gala
  • Will receive the Chamber Roster in Excel format.
